Kill The Pics
In white on fluorescent pink, Martijn Sandberg translates the notorious slogan 'Kill The Pigs' into a critical statement on painting and the visual arts.
The artist's subtle variation in text is emphasized by the shift from handwriting on the wall to drawing letters with a finger in wet paint on an aluminium canvas; from social criticism about 'pigs' to the language of 'pics' - pictures and pixels.
