Pretty Vacant

2001

'Pretty Vacant' by Martijn Sandberg consists of a light greenish phosphorescent text on a white aluminium traffic sign. The text 'we're pretty vacant' is referring to a song by the Sex Pistols. After being illuminated in the dark the glowing sentence fades; until everything is dark again.
